Who I Am
My name is Simon – athlete, coach, and founder of BASICS. In the gym, I’ve trained world, European, and Olympic medallists – but also youth and recreational athletes from a wide range of disciplines. In search of the best and most effective path to success, I’ve learned a lot about strength training – principles and methods that make you sustainably and progressively stronger. With BASICS, I want to share these with you.
Good strength training is simple, but not easy. Focus on the basics. Don’t hope for progress – plan it. And once you have your plan: don’t get distracted by the latest social media trends, just stick to it. This is exactly where BASICS comes in. The app combines sports science, practical experience, and smart technology to provide you with precisely that – personalised, effective, and sustainable training. The goal: to help you bring out the best in yourself. Smart, effective, and enjoyable!
